My attempt at removing myself from the stressors and deteriorating eyesight of designing on a computer for more years than I’d like to admit is paying off. And while the pandemic has pushed us all to reimagine how we work and interact with others, I’m now pushing myself to use materials and techniques that create interactions and experiences that can be held in your hand while supporting the good ole USPS. Plus, I get more mileage out of my collection of old encyclopedias (thanks, Liz), homemade stickers, stamps, tear sheets, make-readies, vintage postcards, hole-punchers, letter punch, sewing shears, east European ephemera, typewriters, and Letraset sheets.
