ILLUSTRATION SYMPOSIUM IDENTITY

Organized by the DB Dowd Modern Graphic History Library at Washington University in St. Louis and the Norman Rockwell Museum, this symposium brought together scholars from across the humanities and the arts to explore the history, context, and theory of illustration in the United States from the nineteenth century to now. I created the overall graphic identity, designed to be punched out of and layered over the top of a variety of illustrations. The typography is reminiscent of traditional and modern production methods. Numerous applications included screen projections, program brochure, exhibition guide, posters and animated gif.
