Stick Figures: Drawing as a Human Practice by DB Dowd argues that drawing is an ancient human activity, practiced by everyone. While the book is a great resource for art students, the content embraces drawing as a process for anyone. I designed the 200 page, visually rich narrative to appeal to a wide audience using color and typographic cues to help navigate the content while giving the images room to breathe.
